An installation box designed for mounting Omada wall-plate access points directly onto bare walls without the need for a dedicated electrical junction box.
The product addresses situations where no junction box has been pre-installed at the installation site, the available box size does not match the dimensions of the access point, or network cables have not been pre-routed through the wall. The OJB-100 enables quick and cost-effective installation without any modifications to the existing wall structure.
When installing the EAP725-Wall V1.0 and EAP655-Wall V1.0 models on a bare wall using the OJB-100, a special network cable must be used – a short network cable, an L-shaped cable, or another suitable type. For details, please refer to the installation guide.
