MikroTik LAMP 5G R16 is an outdoor 5G router designed for deployment in demanding environments where locking onto a single base station is not possible.

The device features an omnidirectional antenna system capable of connecting to the strongest available signal from any direction without the need to physically reorient the antenna. This makes it suitable for industrial sites, ports, backup connectivity, and densely built urban environments where network conditions change throughout the day. The modem supports 5G SA and NSA with maximum download speeds of up to 5.0 Gbps (NSA) and a 4 × 4 MIMO configuration for reception.

The built-in eSIM enables remote activation of data plans without handling physical SIM cards. The device is fully compatible with the MikroTik Connectivity service and also supports third-party eSIM profiles for managing multiple operators on a single device. The integrated GNSS module provides positioning via GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS systems.

Durability and Mounting
The IP67-rated enclosure is resistant to dust, rain, humidity, and salt-laden marine atmospheres. EN 60945 certification confirms compliance with environmental and electromagnetic requirements for marine communication environments. The package includes a stainless steel mounting bracket for pole mounting on masts with a diameter of 25–60 mm or wall mounting using pre-drilled 6 mm holes.

Multi-Operator Support and Backup Connectivity
Support for multiple eSIM profiles allows plans from different operators to be stored on a single device and switched between as needed. This feature is particularly useful for managing backup connections, roaming deployments, or multi-operator networks.
