The Alta Labs S48-APOE is designed for maximum performance in enterprise, commercial, and corporate environments, hotels, restaurants, entertainment facilities, Pro AV installations, and anywhere high-speed connectivity with flexible PoE+ power is required. The switch provides 48 ports with full PoE+ support and a total power budget of 740 W (30 W/port), making it suitable for powering a wide range of network devices.
The switch combines 16 ports with 2.5 Gbps speed and 32 ports with 1 Gbps speed. For high-speed uplinks, it offers 4 SFP+ ports supporting up to 10 Gbps. It is a fully managed rackmount switch with Bluetooth support for easy device setup.

Powerful Power-over-Ethernet
The S48-APOE provides full PoE+ connectivity on all ports with a total budget of 740 W. Each port delivers up to 30 W according to the 802.3at standard and is backward compatible with 802.3af. Perfect for powering Alta Labs access points and other devices that support 802.3at or 802.3af standards.
High-speed connectivity
The switch includes four SFP+ ports for high-speed optical or copper uplinks supporting 1, 2.5, 5, or 10 Gbps. The first 32 Ethernet ports support up to 1 Gbps, while the last 16 Ethernet ports support up to 2.5 Gbps.
Cloud management and advanced features
Alta Labs provides intuitive cloud management with high availability and global accessibility. The platform allows multi-site management, customizable dashboards, status snapshots, and detailed device insights. Advanced features include VLAN stacking (Q-in-Q), ingress and egress rate limiting, IGMP snooping, 802.1X authentication, and loop detection.
