Energy Communication Unit (ECU) is the information gateway for GF-YC500 (YC500T) microinverters. The unit collects data from microinverters and transfers this information to your PC.

Energy Communication Unit (ECU), is the information gateway for microinverters GF-YC500 or GF-YC500T. The unit collects module performance data from each individual microinverter and transfers this information to an Internet database in real time, requiring only a single data and power cable. Through the APsystems Monitor software, the APsystems Communicator gives you precise analysis of each microinverter and module in your solar installation from any web-connected device. The APsystems Communicator’s integrated http webserver offers the simplest and most flexible network integration of any data logger on the market. The user-friendly browser-based interface lets you access your solar array in seconds.

ECU is connected easily using the supplied power cord directly into an outlet on a circuit where the microinverters are also connected. Data is transmitted from the microinverter by PLC communication ie using existing wires 230V. Installation is very simple and can be placed on best place even in the living room. The advantage is also a USB output that is used to power the Wi-Fi adapter. You do not need to install UTP cable.
You can use the RS232 output for connection of communication adapter from mobile operator.

Users can check the real-time performance, historical power output, and environmental benefits of their PV system from their mobile device.
